• Eat 3 main balanced meals a day
  • Have a small snack every 2 hours
  • Exercise after a small light snack
  • Eat main meals, 45 minutes after workout
  • Hydrate yourself well, 1 glass of water every hour / 12 Glasses per day
  • Keep daily oil consumption to 10% of total calorie intake, i.e. on an average 3-4tsp a day (OR) 1 ½ liter oil per family per month.
  • Avoid refined sugar in beverages like tea, coffee, lassi, fresh lime.
  • Avoid Artificial sweetners as they are ‘artificial’.
  • Say no to fruit juices and milkshakes. Eat the whole fruit instead
  • Minimize coffee / tea intake. If possible stop it.
